Through friendliness, kindness and compassion, strength comes.

Fully Aware was created as a platform to share ideas and promote my yoga asana classes. My philosophy is to live consciously in every aspect of life.

To do this, we need to become fully aware by removing the maya (illusionary qualities of the world) and seeing the Truth of who we are – all connected to each other and the Creation.

Yoga is my way of finding my own Truth and becoming fully aware of the effects of my actions on the Earth and all its beings.

Yoga has a rich lineage and many different styles. Having a strong and solid foundation in your yoga practice is invaluable. I am blessed to have been guided by beautiful passionate gurus on my journey and continue to find exceptional and compassionate teachers along the way.

My Background

I started my yoga training at Living Yoga under the guidance of the legendary Cherryl Duncan and the awe inspiring Sarah Bentz.

I am blessed to have been introduced to yoga philosophy by such inspirational teachers. Cherryl and Sarah are both Jivamukti Yoga teachers who embody the spirit of yoga as it has been passed from master to student since ancient times.

I am currently continuing my practice under the compassionate guidance of the radiant Natalie Botha – accomplished Vinyasa teacher.

I am privileged to advance my practice with Natalie who has been an encouraging teacher and compassionate friend.

Being a bit of an “explosive” exercise freak I wasn’t sure that yoga was going to suit me! I have now been to classes for 4 weeks and can safely say that I find it very therapeutic and look forward to my next session. Thanks Chantel. - Karin
