Find yourself at Fully Aware Yoga

Atha yoga-anusasanam (Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras I:1)
Now this is yoga as I have experienced it in the natural world.

Yoga is timeless. Since ancient times, yogis in the East - and more recently, all over the world - have used the practices of yoga (like postures – asana, breath control – pranayama and meditation - dhyana) to remove the illusory quality of the three dimensional world in order to become more aware of their true nature.

Yoga means union – to obtain yoga is to obtain union with the Creative Energy by becoming fully aware of who we are.

Yoga is a wonderful gift that brings joy and happiness through love and devotion. The principles practiced on the yoga mat can be taken to enrich our lives and make us become fully aware of how we fit into this magnificent Cosmos.

Approaching reality through the immediate physicality of the body, the senses, and the breath skips right around religious, cultural, and national prejudice, and brings out a love of the best and most beautiful in everything.

Being a bit of an “explosive” exercise freak I wasn’t sure that yoga was going to suit me! I have now been to classes for 4 weeks and can safely say that I find it very therapeutic and look forward to my next session. Thanks Chantel. - Karin
